In order for the body to function properly, i.e. its cells, the chemical reactions, and beneficial bacteria, it has to be slightly alkaline. If it is acid, then it signifies that the body does not function in the right manner. If the pH levels of the body become too acidic, it will be prone to different diseases like:
- Diabetes and weight gain;
- Kidney stones;
- Chronic inflammation;
- High blood pressure;
- Obesity, slow metabolism, and inability to lose weight;
- Low levels of energy;
- Mood swings;
- Pain in the muscles and joints;
- Lactic-acid buildup;
- Bone spurs, fractures, osteoporosis, and weak bones;
- Premature aging;
- Overgrowth of yeast or fungal infections;
- Slow digestion;
- Chronic fatigue.
Many toxic chemicals, drugs, and medications contribute to lower pH levels and when they fall below 6.4, the enzymes deactivate, and the food supplements, minerals, and vitamins cannot be properly assimilated. In this way the process of digestion cannot function properly. The acid reduces our body’s ability to produce energy in the cells, repair those which have been damaged, and detoxify the heavy metals. This leads to illness and fatigue.
Diseases are not able to survive in alkaline environment. Only in acidic environment will yeast, mold, candid, viruses, bacteria, fungus, and cancer, low pH, and low oxygen environment can they thrive. This may be a result of an acid forming diet, overload of toxins, emotional stress, or even an immune reaction which disposes the cells of oxygen and some significant nutrients.
In order to function properly, the body is trying to use its alkaline mineral reserves like calcium from the bones and sodium from the stomach. This condition brings osteoporosis and other diseases. If there is not sufficient amount of minerals, the acid will accumulate and there will appear symptoms like lupus, fibromyalgia, MS, pain, and arthritis. Cancer and a healthy pH environment are not able to exist together. For this reason the cancer cells cannot affect the heart, for there is a constant blood flow from the lungs into the heart, and there is the highest pH scale within the whole body. The lungs are filled with oxygen supplied by blood, and he high pH levels remove the acidic toxins from there. If there is no oxygen, then the glucose ferments itself into lactic acid, leading to lower pH levels in the cells.
The cancer patients have urine and saliva pH ranging between 4.0 and 5.5, and when it metastasizes, the levels drop lower. In 1964 there was only one person in 214 that got cancer, while today, there are 1 in 2 males and 1 in 3 females that have it. The main reason is the pH.
Check your pH levels
There are pH test strips that can help you check the levels and it can be done throughout the day. However, it is recommended to do that in the morning as the body is more acidic at that point. The urine results in the morning should be between 6.5 and 7.5. Check the saliva results as well, at least 2 hours after a meal. Fill your mouth with saliva and then swallow it. Repeat the same process again in order to provide a clean spit and then place some saliva on the pH strip.
Make sure that you include more healthy habits, control stress, drink lots of water, eat healthy food, and practice deep breathing so that the acidic environment is reduced.
